In 2021 we will celebrate Finnish composer Joonas Kokkonen’s 100^th anniversary. In addition to central choral works by Kokkonen, we’ll hear pieces by Aarre Merikanto (Kokkonen’s teacher) and Erkki Salmenhaara (Kokkonen’s student). This year marks also the 80^th anniversary of Erkki Salmenhaara.

The concert is organized in collaboration with Tampere Evangelic Lutheran Parishes.
