Helsinki Chamber Choir performed Gluck’s opera Orfeo ed Euridice at the Magnus Lindberg festival in October 2019 together with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, conductor Fabio Biondi and splendid soloists (Caitlin Hulcup, Helena Juntunen, Tuuli Lindeberg) – the performance can be seen at Yle Areena:

In January 2020 the Helsinki Chamber Choir will perform at the Sibafest-festival. The theme is #Äänessä [in voice]

“I have always been fascinated by how every person’s voice is wholly unique, like their fingerprints. Whenever we sing or make music, we put our entire range of human emotions into it, and this is what captivates us in every style of music, with words or without”, tells the artistic director Aija Puurtinen.

Helsinki Chamber Choir will perform music by Arvo Pärt together with NYKY Ensemble on Sunday 26^th of January, conductor is Jaan-Eik Tulve.
