Wonderfeel Helsinki is a new kind of classical music event, combining wonderful music with a relaxed festival atmosphere, a versatile range of food and drink options and an interesting supplementary programme. The three days will be filled with chamber music classics as well as the most interesting contemporary music, surprising encounters and the natural peace of the lush Lapinlahti park area.
Wonderfeel has been organised in natural surroundings near Amsterdam since 2015, where it has gained great popularity. Wonderfeel Helsinki, organised as part of Helsinki Festival, brings this unique concept outside of the Netherlands for the first time.
The performers will include, for example, Anu Komsi, Castalian String Quartet, Tami Pohjola, Aki Rissanen Trio, Sergey Malov, Finnish Baroque Orchestra, Essi Höglund, Awake Percussion, Taavi Oramo, Elina Vähälä, Helsinki Chamber Choir, Senja Rummukainen, defunensemble, Tytti Arola, Tölöläb & Elifantree, Jukka Perko and the children’s music orchestra FlipFlop. In addition to the music, there will also be speeches, yoga and a programme for children.
