The Helsinki Chamber Choir takes modern classics of its repertoire on tour. At the Tenso Days professional choirs’ festival in Belgium, the choir not only performs its own concert but serves as the rehearsal choir for an international conducting masterclass with Fredrik Malmberg and Daniel Reuss, and will take part in the world premiere of Visioni ed Estasi by Wim Henderickx, an ambitious new work which brings together three professional and six amateur choirs.

Lahti: Admission free, programme 10€

The 23-strong Finnish chorus was an unbeatable exponent of this piece [Rautavaara's Vigilia], showing not only their technical discipline but also a breathtaking range of sonorities.
